The International Poster Biennial in Lublin (IPBL) is an event of global importance, which has been held every two years since 2013. The Lublin biennale is dedicated to the design and art of the poster, attended by professionals, students of art faculties and everyone associated with art. This year, IPBL 2023 will be held on June 17 - October 8 in Lublin.
For 10 years, IPBL has been creating an opportunity for international dialogue between poster designers, art directors, graphic designers, art students and other creative professionals. The event also serves as a platform for designers to showcase their work and exchange ideas and opinions.
IPBL is a unique event that gives you a chance to be part of a unique creative community. This is a great opportunity for all committed artists and poster art lovers to get exposure to a wide range of ideas and connect with like-minded individuals.
In 2023, IPBL, in addition to categories open to professional artists and students of art schools, has three additional categories.
The first is the TXT+EXPERIMENT category, which focuses on typography and experiments in poster design. The second is the category of 80 years of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, commemorating the history and contribution of Lublin university to scientific and cultural life.
The category entitled Translacore Where science meets art is an attempt to search for artistic forms that define the eternal cycle of health and disease in human life, including science dealing with research in the field of developing innovative methods in the treatment of diseases such as cancer.
During IPBL 2023, there will be several different events and activities for all participants. These include exhibitions, lectures, workshops, film screenings and a competition for the best posters. In addition, a number of special prizes will be awarded for the best works in each category.
IPBL is a great opportunity for both professionals and students to present their work and be part of the international community of poster designers. The event also serves as a platform for networking and exchanging ideas and opinions.
