Tomasz Boguslawski
Born in 1958 in Gdansk.
Studied at the Visual Arts & Design Department PWSSP in Gdansk (now Academy of Fine Arts) under supervision of professor Marek Freudenreich and professor Witold Janowski. Since 1983 worked as a tutor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, currently professor at the Graphic Arts Department.
Working within various forms of graphic design: poster, visual commmunication, editorial graphics, philatelic editing as well as small graphic forms.
Participation in numerous editions of international poster exhibition cycles: Warsaw, Lahti, Mexico City, Colorado, Teheran, Moscow, Sofia, Taiwan, Chicago, Hangzhou, Rzeszow and Expo 92 in Seville. Took part in a couple dozen presentations of Polish poster art both national and abroad, plus a number of global philatelic exhibitions.
Multiple winner of Polish Poster Biennale in Katowice: (1983, 2009 – Gold, 1985, 2011 – Silver, 1995, 2005 – distinction and founded prize, 2015 - distinction) and double Grand Prix (2003, 2007).

Taiwan International Poster Design Award 2007 – final selection
12th International Biennale of Theater Poster, Rzeszow 2009 – 1st Prize
3rd International Biennial of Poster, Bolivia BICeBe 2009 – 1st Prize in the cultural poster category
6th International Triennial of Stage Poster, Sofia 2010 – Grand Prix
The 5th China International Poster Biennial Hangzhou 2011 – Special Jury Award,
6th International Socio-Political Poster Biennale, Oswiecim 2016 – 1st Prize
Member of the International Jury at 21st Warsaw International Poster Biennale & 7th International Triennial of Stage Poster, Sofia 2013 and 20. Lahti Poster Trieniial 2017.
