In the light of recent changes in polish law regarding Poles' participation in extermination of Jews during WW2 many people tend to forget or even deny the long history of antisemitism in whole of Europe, including Poland. Meanwhile the antisemitic tendencies were alive and well throughout ages, becoming even a part of everyday live. It led eventually to a numerous pogroms, the most infamous of which is the one in village of Jedwabne.
