The poster is a piece of personal work. It was made after the break up with my girlfriend, inspired by her. The desired effect was to express the most iconic parts of my relationship with her divided into 3 chapters. The first, the intro, is a reference to our beginning when I knew her for the first time. She told me she was a financial student and she loved stock market, that is the reason I used a piece of a financial newspaper for that and write her name on it character by character, one above the other. That was all I knew about her at that time, but this is my way to express that I started to feel some good vibrations, something I could not explain. The second part, the climax, makes allusion to our first romantic moment, she was French and the phrase you can read was what she told me. The third part, the outro, symbolizes how things turned to black and weird, nonsense stuff that made us dizzy and got us nowhere. I covered some parts of the poster with sticking tapes because she was a muse, a complete inspiration for me and just because we broke up does not mean that I would not want to rebuild some parts just to keep that lovely memory, that inspiration. The artwork was completely made in analogic ways devoid of any artifice in its creation process. For that, I used rest of makeup she left, newspapers and stick tapes (usually used for medical purposes). After that, I scanned the piece to digitalize it.
