Most Central European cities are affected with smog, especially during winter. Smog is a serious problem and continues to harm human health. Ground-level ozone, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide and carbon monoxide are especially harmful for senior citizens, children, and people with heart and lung conditions such as emphysema, bronchitis, and asthma. It may cause cancer, heart diseases, or even Alzheimer disease. Nevertheless right-sided politicians in many countries, like in Poland, don't see any problem, and try to convince that Smog is kind of eco-propaganda spread by left-wing movements across Europe.
