Mary Ann Biehl’s art and design interests focus on the visual exploration of ordinary moments as captured through digital photography. Recent themes include the visual aspects of water, food choices, and the ever changing landscape of twenty-first century New York City. Mary Ann is also an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Communication Design at New York City College of Technology, CUNY. Her teaching focuses on Visual Communications, Typography, and Information Design. She holds a BFA from St. John’s University and Master of Science degree from Pratt Institute.
