Irina Koryagina is an up-and-coming multidisciplinary designer and art director. Born and raised in Siberia, she’s been living and working in New York since 2014. She got her MA from Academy of Arts and Architecture in Novosibirsk, Russia, and graduated from a summer residency program in type design at SVA. Irina has worked with the likes of Citibank, Foster + Partners, New York Times Book Review, New York State Parks, Moscow Department of Transportation, and others. In her past life as information designer, Irina was featured in design magazines such as Eye, Page, EG, and Afisha, and won SEGD Merit Award and Sign Design Award for her work on complex wayfinding systems. She has lectured, held master classes, and delivered remarks extensively at universities and private companies all around Russia.
