Ireneusz Kuriata
Born in 1973 in Bielawa. Graphic designer, lecturer.
Graduated from the State High School of Fine Arts in Szczecin in 1993.
Bachelor degree from the Higher School of Applied Arts in Szczecin in the studio of the poster under the supervision of prof. Grzegorz Marszałek gained in 1998; Master's degree in WSSU in Szczecin in the Laboratory of Sign and Identification Forms under the direction of prof. Andrzej Tomczak in 2001. Doctorate at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań in 2008; habilitation at the Poznań University of Art in 2013. Involved in graphic design in the field of posters, publishing forms, signs and forms, as well as audiovisual forms. Currently he works as a professor at the Academy of Art in Szczecin. He is the head of the Department of Design Graphics where he leads the Design Lab and Identification Forms. Own works were published in such publications as: quarterly 2 + 3D, polish poster of XXI century Krzysztof and Agnieszka Dydo, PGR. Graphic design in Poland by Jacek Mrówczyk and Michał Wardy and in the catalogs of significant events related to the poster. He exhibited in Poland, among others: Gorzów, Katowice, Kołobrzeg, Kraków, Łódź, Szczecin, Warszawa, Szczecinek, Piła, Poznań, Stargard Szczeciński, Marianowo and abroad, among others Austin/USA, Berlin/Niemcy, Brande/Dania, Chicago/USA, Hongkong/Chiny, Kharkov/Ukraina, Mediolan, Pratovecchio/Włochy, Taipei/ Taiwan, Trnava/Słowacja, Žilina – Słowacja,, Teheran/Iran, Zakynthos, Heraklion/Greece.
