Andrej Hascak (1976) is a creative graphic designer from Kosice in Slovakia working in the field of communication design, as well as university Associate Professor. He graduated on Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava on Department of Design and has doctorate in field of arts Design at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. He is the head of Studio of Visual Communication at Department of Design of the Faculty of the Arts at the Technical University of Kosice. He is a member of the Brno Biennale Association, UVU ČR, and ICOGRADA where he participates in projects organized by this association. He is an author of multiple award-winning projects: trademarks, logos, posters and publications, participated in many international creative workshops, held lectures related to visual communication, took part on more than 90 exhibitions in Slovakia and abroad focused on posters, visual structures and design (Beijing, Berlin, Bratislava, Brno, Budapest, Cieszyn, Ciudad de Mexico, Jeju, Dubai, Gliwice, Katowice, Kharkiv, Kiev, Krakow, Lahti, Lodz, Lublin, Mashhad, Moscow, Ogaki, Paju, Pontevedra, Prague, Rome, Shenzhen, Sofia, Seoul, Taipei, Tetovo, Trnava, Vaduz, Warszaw, Wuppertal, etc.). Among his other important assignments are being a curator and member of jury of exhibitions in the area of graphic and communication design oriented on poster design, logo types, corporate identity, etc.
