Aleksandra Ilkiewicz

She got a diploma with distinction in the Studio of Lithography Techniques headed by Professor Witold Warzywoda (June 2016) at the Wladyslaw Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. She recived Scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage for outstanding achievement in the year 2015/2016, Scholarship Drawing in Urbino 2015 in International Printmaking Centre KAUS in Urbino, Italy. She collaborates with Book Art Museum in Lodz, where she improves her knowledge in the fields of typography and letterpress. She presented a collection of letterpress covers of book series at the Exhibition Atlas of Modernity. The 20th and 21st Century Art Collection at Museum of Art in Lodz, Poland (2015). She also took a part of graphic exhibitions: EIBAB European International Book Art Biennale 2016, Goa India, Exhibition 8th International Printmaking Biennial Douro 2016, Douro, Portugal, Exhibition 13th Gielniak Graphic Arts Competition 2016, Jelenia Gora, Poland, Exhibition 7th Splitgraphic 2015, International Graphic Art Biennial, Split, Croatia, Exhibition Print Award Carmen Arozena 2015, Madrid, Spain. She is co-founder of typography group Distort Visual.
