Come and spend seven unforgettable days painting, living and relaxing in Bulgaria.  The town of Pravets is situated at the foot of one of the most beautiful Bulgarian mountains - the Stara Planina Mountain.

The artists of Art Unity will be teaching with a focus on "plein-air" painting directly from nature that captures the colors, patterns and values, which photography alone cannot achieve.

We have developed a structured approach to painting, ideal for beginning, and intermediate students.  This approach is based on various techniques of oil, pastel and graphics, with emphasis on oil painting.

Art Unity will teach for five full days. We will visit different painting locations each day.  Should there be a rainy day, we have a sheltered location to continue painting. If you come with companion, we can offer “word class” 18-hole golf and the most extensive wellness and SPA center in Bulgaria.

The key to Art Unity’s success is the usage of the technique of finger painting. The freedom of movement and the direct contact with canvas and paint allow for the release of gust and immediacy. This helps artists enrich their feelings and emotions and eventually achieve a more spontaneous and intuitive process. Direct finger painting helps attain a less conditioned and more instinctive image, which is out of the usual control of the mind.
